ANCIENT WISDOM, MODERN RELIEF

Those of you who have received a massage from me have probably heard me talking about acupressure mats and if you're new here, let me explain.

Acupressure mats are amazing for supporting relaxation, muscle release, and general wellbeing, and they have helped me tremendously since doing a very physical job. After a long day of massaging or after exercising, I go home, have a hot shower, and lay down on my mat and let my tense muscles relax.

I recommend them to people so much that it made sense to become an affiliate for the original and best; Shakti.

Laying on this spiky mat for just 20 minutes can help to

  • Alleviate tense muscles

  • Soothe aches and pains

  • Improve sleep

  • Relieve stress

There are 4 different levels of spikes to choose from

  • Level 1 has 8,000 spikes and is recommended to anyone who is new to Shakti.
Level 1 effectively targets deep tissue and restores the body in the same way deep tissue massage would.

  • Level 2 has fewer spikes (6,000) for a deeper release. This is a more intense pressure experience that will take some time to adjust to. Perfect for those who have built up a regular practice on Level 1.

  • Level 3 is an intense step up and is reserved for experienced Shakti-ers only. This level has the least number of spikes (only 4,000) and provides an extremely intense acupressure experience.

  • Level 4 is for experienced Shakti Level 3 users. With 2,070 spikes, this can take accomplished Shakti-ers back to the first feeling of using Shakti for the most intense experience.

If the idea of laying on spikes doesn't appeal, let me reassure you that it is far more relaxing than it sounds!
In the first minute or so, it will feel prickly and possibly a little uncomfortable. However, this is soon taken over by a feeling of tingling, or pulsating. This indicates that the blood is flowing to the area. After this, your muscles begin to relax, tension eases, and you may even fall asleep. If you find using the mat on bare skin too much, you can start off wearing a thin cotton t-shirt and shorts until you get used to it. It took me a few tries to go without a t-shirt.
Not only is it good for sore muscles, but I have also used it to eliviate the symptoms of chronic PMT
and anxiety. And it's not just mats; you can also buy accessories such as belly bands, meditation cushions and weighted blankets.

Are there other acupressure mats that you can buy? Sure. There are cheaper versions that you can buy. However, since experiencing Shakti, I can tell you that they just do not compare. Their quality, design, and ethics are far better and this is backed up by their 5 year warranty. They also donate at least 10% of their profits to humanitarian causes that are important to people and the planet.

By being an affiliate, I am able to provide my clients with a discount code, which you can use in addition to any other discount codes that Shakti have at the time.

By using this link a discount of 10% will automatically be applied, and you can use any other discount codes at the checkout. At the moment, you can use the code RELAX for a 20% discount on Premium and Classic Shaktis, so you'll get 30% off your order!

If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to help answer them. Just send me an email!
